Christmas in Japan was certainly an experience - one I will never forget. Very few people here celebrate Christmas. I saw very little evidence in the stores that it was Christmastime, and no evidence that Christmas has anything to do with Christ.

It amazes me how Americans can believe that Christmas is about giving or about sharing or even about family. When I don't even see that corruption of Christmas here, it becomes undeniably clear what Christmas is about.

This is the Christmas tree at the hospital where we do English Bible classes twice monthly. We were able to have a fun Christmas service and celebration there as well.
